TEXTOR (Tokamak Experiment for Technology Oriented Research) was the largest fusion experiment at Julich for 30 years until 2013. Its was a test bed for fusion reactor walls. Its inner wall was exposed to heat and particle loads at intensities relevant for ITER and future fusion reactors .
