The Guards Division Memorial in London was designed by Harold Charlton Bradshaw (1893-1943). Bradshaw also designed notable First World War memorials including the Cambrai Memorial in France and the Ploegsteert Memorial to the Missing in Belgium. This cenotaph, or empty tomb, close to Horse Guards Parade in London, comprises an obelisk of Portland stone on a base with five bronze sculptures of soldiers representing each of the Guards Regiments by Gilbert Ledward.); by National Army Museum ; Scottish, out of copyright.
