Good Year Tyre Factories At Buitenzorg, Java -- With the resumption of the production of the Good Year Factories in Buitenzorg, the inner tubs produced under the American Management, was presented to the Brigade Commander in Buitenzorg, Colonel A.A. Thomson on 24th April, 1947, at a small ceremony. Before the presentation, Colonel Thomson, together with a few military and civilian authorities, made a tour of inspection of the factory, under the guidance of the General Manager, Mr. L. Hochberg. The General Director, Mr. D. Cow, offering the first inner tubes to Col. Thomson. June 4, 1947.
