New Vehicles for the Royal Train -- Driver A. Young preparing the Royal Train,the "King George VI", for a run. Two new railway saloons, completed at the L.M.S. works at Wolverton (Bucks) in 1941, are now included in the permanent formation of the LMS Royal Train. Each has a lounge, bedroom and bathroom, and accommodation for their Majesties personal attendants. Each saloon is fitted with private phone and air-conditioning, and the king's Saloon has a 12 valve radio-receiver.
