New Styles Hat fro The Princess - The Princess en route for the Trooping the Colour wearing this attractive newly-designed hat which will sweep the country, designed specially by Mr. Aage Thaarup. At today's Trooping the colour ceremony H.R.H. Princess Elizabeth wore an entirely new hat creation, modelled directly from H.M. The King's own Guardman's hat which he sent to Mr. Aage Thaarup with express instructions that a hat was to be designed for Her Royal Highness which, although was to be strictly feminine, had to have the identical Guardsman's peak as the King's hat. it also had to bear the insignia of the Guards.
