Crozier head Curl of a bishop's staff with Crucifixion and Virgin and Child; On the disk-shaped upper part of the staff a leafy sprig sprouts from a vine that curves into a curl. This ends in an elongated leaf motif; which in turn connects to the twig above the head of a kneeling angel; who is placed with the back and wings against the lower part thereof. In the curl Mary with child standing between two torch-bearing angels standing back to back with Christ on the cross between Mary and John. Christ and Mary are used to each other; she raised her left hand with gestures and held her right in front of her. Johannes carries a book and dries his tears with the right hand. Above the cross sun and moon half covered by clouds. On the downside; Mary has a bird in the right hand and on the left arm the child who reaches for the bird with one hand and holds an apple in the other; Christ with Mary and John on either side of the cross; Holy Red; Mary standing (or half-length); the Christ-child on her arm (Christ-child to Mary's left); anonymous; Paris; c. 1350 - c. 1400; ivory; cutting; h 30 cm h 21.5 cm x w 10.6 cm
