The scatter pattern is made on a mesh ground; the Paris soil. The motifs in the pattern along the lower edge are connected to each other by a finer mesh; a tulip soil; with pouches. The motifs are made in linen with thicker and shiny contour threads. An ornamental soil is used in the flowers.
