Handkerchief of batist on which embroidery with a man running after his horse; Handkerchief of natural-colored batist with embroidery - white work - and around an edge bobbin lace: Valenciennes lace. Square model with rounded corners set on by the strip side that is pleated at the corners. The batist is embroidered on each side in the middle with palmet leaves surrounded by strongly curling thin tendrils and flanked on both sides by a longer wavy ribbon. A similar building is embroidered in each of two opposite corners: a gloriette with pillars; a staircase and high doors. In the other two corners scenes are embroidered with people; animals and trees. A parrot is flying in one corner. The bird looks at a shepherdess with her cow; sheep and goat. In the other corner; a man and his two dogs run after a saddled horse. He is holding one hand on his buttocks. The edge bobbin lace has a repeating pattern that consists of a plume flower on a stem with three leaves. Along the underside is a concatenation of three different types of flowers; the curved stems of which form the shell edge. The motifs are made in linen with openwork edges and fine cut-outs. They are connected by a lattice ground: a square Valencian ground.
