MADONNA Santa Maria Immacolata of the Grotta di Cannero: a pious woman gnaws the rosary at the foot of the statue of the Virgin in the reconstruction of the grotto of Lourdes; also a destination for the pilgrimage of the faithful and the sick; built in 1939 in Cannero Riviera (VB) for inspiration by Don Luigi Borlandelli (1881 - 1947); whose construction provided both the economically and materially the devoted local population.
