Korean Empire: Japanese magazine with the photo of Jeon Bong-Jun, 1895. A photo of Jeon Bong-joon being interrogated at the Japanese legation in Seoul was published in a Japanese magazine. Jeon Bong-jun, also called General Nokdu (green gram), gathered the people through the Donghak Peasant Movement and is a leader of the peasants who fought against the corrupt Joseon and Japanese forces.
