Western European house mice (Mus musculus domesticus) climbing on Pyracantha sp. berries. These small rodents are native to Europe and Asia but have been introduced worldwide through association with humans. Laboratory mice typically belong to this species and are some of the most important model organisms in biology and medicine. Photographed in November, in Dorset, UK.
