On September 27th, Mr. Wynford Vaughan Thomas, B.B.C. commentator, and Mr. Charles de Jaeger, television cameraman, who recently passed through Sydney on their eight days flight round the world, arrived back at London Airport by B. O.A. C. Constellation from Montreal. They were 1? hours ahead of schedule after having circled the globe by four airlines of the British Commonwealth in the allotted time. September 1, 1949.
