Admiral Collingwood, 1st quarter of 19th century. Admiral Lord Cuthbert Collingwood (1748-1810) was a hero of the Battle of Trafalgar. His image was disseminated in paintings and prints in the early 19th century. This miniature is an example of such commemorative images.
