Eleanor and Frederick Pray, seated in the veranda room, Dom Smith, Vladivostok, Russia, 1900. Portraits no. 9 and 10 show husband and wife posed for a photograph apparently described in a letter from Eleanor Pray dated February 18, 1900: "On this mail I am sending you a small packet [of photos] most of which are for mothers album. The two of Ted and me are the ones Miss Morphew took yesterday and I like the little one ever so much. The big one I should also like if I had a nose in it and if Ted didnt look so small and henpecked."
