General Garibaldi received an address and gifts from the Italian committee of London at the Crystal Palace. ...the box in which the freedom of the City was presented to him...[was] made by Hancock, of Braton-street, [and] is a massive gold one, ornamented with garlands of flowers and the arms of the city of London on the lid.
