Avebury stone circle on the Marlborough Downs in Wiltshire, England. This is a Neolithic henge monument built around 2600 BC during the New Stone Age and it is one the best known prehistoric sites in Britain. It is both a tourist attraction and a place of religious importance to contemporary pagans.
