Panagrellus redivivus is a free_living nematode similar in appearance to C. elegans and, like them, are sometimes used in genetic analysis studies. They can reach lengths of a millimeter or longer and are a popular aquarium food. Visible within a few of them are a number of larvae in pretzel_shape stage. Recorded under Nomarski DIC illumination.
