Discarded seal skins at coast. Seals have traditionally been killed as meat for working dogs, however, due to global warming and the consequent lack of sea ice, fewer dogs are being used for hunting. It is illegal to sell the seal skins and so they too are discarded. The impact of this on Inuit culture is devastating. Filmed in Disko Bay, Greenland, in summer 2012, which was a record year for the sea ice minimum.
