This large rounded cell has an uneven surface with many cytoplasmic projections, which may enable it to be motile. Typically, cancer cells are large and they divide rapidly in a chaotic manner. Clumps of these cells tumours may form, and invade and destroy surrounding tissues. Cancer of the ovaries the organs that produce female reproductive cells is more common in older women. Treatment involves surgical removal of tumours and possibly radiotherapy and chemotherapy as well.
