Camera tilts up a tangled web of social spiders Anelosius eximius in French Guiana rainforest. Social spiders live in large colonies and cooperate in web building and prey capture. This web was nearly 30 meters high and over a 100 meters wide, and was home to thousands of social spiders. The immense size of this colony can be attributed to its proximity to an open dump attracting countless flies, many of them ending up the spider磗 ever growing web.
